Otto fogli, Movement VI
Friedrich Cerha

This is the sixth movement, or “Fogli,” from Otto fogli, an unaccompanied trombone work by Austrian composer Friedrich Cerha. I discovered this piece while studying in Vienna with its dedicatee, Walter Voglmayr, principal trombonist of the Wiener Symphoniker. I will present the U.S. premiere of the complete work in early 2027.
